- 5 tbs olive oil
- 1/3 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 1/3 cup red cabbage, finely chopped
- 3/4 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 hamburger buns, pretzel buns are recommended
- 2 tbs HerbNZest Caramelized Apple Champagne Mustard
In a skillet, sauté mushrooms and cabbage with 3 tbs. oil for 3 minutes. Set aside.
In a bowl mix salt, pepper, and ground turkey. Shape two equal portions into patties. In the skillet, add 2 tbs oil and cook the patties for 3 minutes on each side.
Place patty on a bun, then half the cheese, half of the mushroom mixture, and 1 tbs of HerbNZest Caramelized Apple Champagne Mustard. Top with the other bun half. Repeat to make the other sandwich.
