- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp HerbNZest Basil Peach Raisin Chutney
- 2 black tea bags (without any flavor)
- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 tsp sugar (optional)
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 2 whole basil leaves and an orange slice for garnishing
Kitchen tools required: kettle, fine kitchen strainer
Bring water to boil in a kettle and remove from heat. Stir HerbNZest Basil Peach Raisin Chutney into the kettle with the water and let it set for 1-2 minutes. Add tea bags and let them soak for 30 seconds. Remove the tea bags. Then stir in apple cider and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat and let the tea cool for 10-15 minutes. Then pour the tea through a kitchen strainer into 2 tall glasses (filled half-way, leaving space for ice). Add crushed ice, garnish with a basil leaf and an orange slice and serve!
