Penne Pasta with Brocolli Rabe

Meal, serves 4, 300 cal/serving, 30 minutes


  • 1 12oz. . box of Penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup of brocolli rabe or brocolli florets
  • 1 jar of HerbNZest Chive Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated


In a large pot, boil water, add salt, penne and cook accoding to package instructions minutes until al dente. Separately, in a skillet heat oil in medium heat. Add broccoli florets and cook until crispy tender for 1-2 minutes. When the pasta is done, drain and then put it back in the pot. Add in sauce and broccoli florets and toss well. Add cheese so that it melts in. Serve hot.
