Our Story
CEO and Founder, Deboleena Dutta is an avid foodie and traveler and is passionate about green ventures. Her love of food was handed down by her foodie family and was further refined through her travels and experimentation in the kitchen. As she purveyed gourmet stores, Deboleena noticed that gourmet foods failed to deliver on health, quality, taste, and convenience at the same time or used artificial ingredients and fillers.
Having led the life of a New York commuter-mom (with little time to cook and yet craving quality food to share with her family), she recognized the need for high quality, and great tasting accompaniments thatĀ could be used to create quick gourmet meals. Based on the belief that quality of ingredients and superior technique would translate to taste, in 2011 she started HerbNZest.
HerbNZest offers a new twist on gourmet food, with products that are versatile and easy enough to build everyday meals around or showcase at special occasions. Most, importantly, HerbNZest delivers quality, health, and taste to busy individuals and families.
